Veronicas
story:
When my mother was pregnant
with me, a German shepard puppy was ordered at the same time. My
father strongly believed that the child and the dog should grow up
together. He was in one way right, we were unseperatable. Where I
was she was..... And the opposite. After her a Norwegian spets and
two Labradors followed. With the Labradors I competed in obedience.

When I bought my first
house, a miserable dog followed with it.... The owner just said, he
goes with the house or I kill him..... Well, since animals always
been the love of my life.... He stayed. After that I opened my home
for rescue dogs, two three at the time, and helped them back to a
normal life with new loving families...... Most moved out, some
stayed.... Like Pia. A German shepard mix. She came to us seven
years old, been living in one and a half meter leash year around,
fed on old bread and never met people. She got to be my shadow,
highly loved for four years.
After a while it beats you
up emotionally to see all these dogs leave, so I decided to buy a
puppy for myself, a Great Dane. Two more
followed, they just got to be, five, six and four years old. I
needed a break. After two years without a dog, my Great Dane
breeder said to me, ....Well, Trollet always
loved you (a little mustard dandiebitch). Everytime I was there, she
jumped into my car when I was leaving, and wanted to go with me.

I started to phone different
kennels, and it did not seem easy to get a dandie. Finally Lili at
Willows called and said, there is a little mustard bitch just born,
do you want her? I almost shouted in the phone....Yes of course I
want her, and Candy came into my life..... The most stubborn, but
loving dog I have ever met and she still is.

The other love of my life
(except my family off course) is horses. I have been breeding horses
for several years. When I started to think the horsebreeding was too
heavy, and after many discussions with dandiebreeders, about the
breed being in danger, I wanted to do something for the dandie.
