Want to tell you about Irma. Irma was born with a split in her noose . This do happen, and usually puppies like this get to be “removed”. Well, I had a very young veterinarian that night and she begged for Irma´s life, I was tired after a though night and said ok I give it a try. Usually puppies like this get an infection in the end, and the lost is much harder and greater. She could not eat on her own, so I had to hand feed her. First every second hour around the clock. She ate and played and weeks went by, a very healthy happy little puppy. We could not sell this puppy so I did not really know what to do with her. At one time my daughter and her boyfriend were babysitting when I was away a few days and when I came back, they were sold…….They just loved her. Irma moved in with Camilla and Conny. Time flies, Irma is now almost three years old, and a very happy, loved, healthy dog. When people meet her, they just adore her and her “funny” face. Not perfect but special. At one time I told Camilla that we could try to operate her and remove a tooth, but Camilla said no…..then Irma would not be Irma. Soon she will have a new family member to take care of, since there are a baby coming, and yes……..I´m about to be a grandma. We don´t live in a perfect world, and sometimes against all odds, different can be the healthiest and the most happy ones. Irma is a great reminder of that.
